Overview

I recently had the opportunity to design Recipedia, a recipe generation application from start to finish. It was a fun and creative project that came with its own set of challenges, but I was determined to overcome them and deliver a successful final product. One of the main challenges I faced was deciding on the best options for the testing phase, as I had created multiple wireframes and needed to determine which ones would work best for the app. I spent some time conducting user research and using the insights gathered to inform my decisions, and it paid off in the end. Another challenge was the fact that most users already used Pinterest and YouTube for recipe inspiration, but there weren't many dedicated recipe apps out there. This was where I saw an opportunity to be unique and create an intuitive experience for our users that would set our app apart from the competition. In the end, it all came together and we were able to launch a recipe generation tool that was not only visually appealing, but also provided a seamless and enjoyable experience for users. It was a rewarding project that allowed me to use a variety of design skills and techniques, and I'm excited to add it to my portfolio as a potential job hirer.
